Wasting Away, and Such

So I've had a cold for like, a month. I remember staying home from Halloween festivities because I could "feel something coming on". Every weekend that followed was similar, until last week, when the "something" became a definite cold. I skipped the gym for a whole week, rested tons, didn't go out at all, etc., but here I am, feverish and miserable. People at work look at me and say things like:

"Wow, you look terrible."
"Are you feeling okay? You don't look too good."
"Did you get enough sleep last night?"

and, my personal favorite:

"Geez, Jess, you look like you're wasting away."

In any case, I think I'm at the hump. Hopefully with a couple more nights of R&R, I'll move safely into the realm of health. Please, God, let it be so.

One random comment: What the hell is the dealio with the "Miso ___" brand? It's packaged in this Asian-inspired paper with Asian-inspired fonts that read things like "Miso Soft!" "Miso Pretty!" ...honestly? It's ridiculous. It's on the verge of offensive. In fact, you know what? I think I am offended!

Another thing. Thank goodness the spawn of Ben (Jennifer Garner & the Affleck's baby) was born. Now maybe Jennifer can whip herself back into shape and get ALIAS back on track. And what the heck with ALIAS moving to Wednesdays at 10-11? Don't the people at ABC know that I need to get my R&R to return to the realm of health?

Don't they know I'm wasting away, and such?

this is the last season of alias. they're ending it this year... i forgot the date but jjabrams or whatever said the date of the last episode and that it would be action-packed. my prediction is that the prophecy comes true about sydney and her sister and the brawl but i haven't been watching so i dont know.

thanks for the bonne chance, charlotte. It's almost over! Presque fini! Do you still remember all those French phrases you learned? It's been a while.

No more Alias until March! Can you believe it? Oh, I'm going to NYC on Tuesday, it's so exciting! When are you off to Auntie Em's?
