Wet and Dry

It's pouring outside! The other day as I was walking to class, I remarked to myself at the lucky weather we've had all year--as of that morning, I hadn't gotten my socks and shoes wet first thing in the morning on a rainy walk up Cardiac Hill. But today the rain and gloom dumped itself on us, in all its anti-glory.

Luckily, I played hookie for the first time this year. No class for me! Nope. It was a planned ditch day, though. The Sears repair guy was going to show up at my house any time between 8am and noon. Seeing as how my dryer's been broken for 2 months, I decided it was worth missing the Intro to Pulm day.

So I'm dry, and my clothes are currently getting dry, too! The dryer is almost inaudible, which is a most welcome relief from the loud screeching/clanging/banging that was going on earlier. Holy moly, and I glad to say goodbye to that noise, and hello to dry clothes. Hello, dry clothes!
