End Of An(atomy) Era

Lost: my motivation
Reward: my everlasting love and admiration and gratitude

Yesterday I took my Medical Anatomy course final. It was challenging, but in a fair way. To be honest, I kind of wish the exams were a little harder-- when a good proportion of the class is scoring in the 90's on exams, I feel like it would be a good idea to stretch that upper portion of the curve out a bit. But that's just me, I'll shut up now.

Anatomy was, in a word, awesome. I learned an incredible amount, and had fun doing it. In addition, I optimized my study habits and the usage of my free time. I also discovered my hidden talents of domesticity; cleaning, cooking, being a hostess... who knew?

Today we started a new course, Cell & Tissue Physiology. I was bored to tears for five hours straight. I'm starting to worry that Anatomy was the best it gets in med school, and that from now on, it's going to be pure torturous inanity. I have this urge to ditch class unless it's mandatory, especially since they started putting recordings of lectures on the internet as PODCASTS.
