I had my second anatomy exam yesterday at 9am on the Head and Neck. The head and neck are very complicated things, I'll tell ya. The exam was challenging, but not impossible or discouragingly difficult. There's definitely a really incredible sense of satisfaction that comes from taking a test after long hours of preparation. And, since I wore my mask to the lab practical, I felt much better when it ended.
When I walked out of Scaife Hall at noon, I was a FREE WOMAN. This is the first weekend I have been free from studies since I started school. I made all sorts of fun and relaxing plans, which I'm looking forward to fulfill.
Yesterday, I dedicated my afternoon to errands and chores: laundry, grocery shopping, dropping dry cleaning off, etc. I meant to vacuum & clean, but that didn't happen. You know how it is. Eric and I made Kansas City-style barbeque for dinner, and it was freakin' awesome: chicken, beans, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob, complete with white bread and KC Masterpiece sauce. At 9:30 we turned in for bed and started watching the Royal Tenenbaums. Unfortunately I fell asleep right away, and stayed that way until 8 this morning.
And here I am! This blog was boring, but whatevs. My brain is officially on "off" mode til 8am Monday. Enjoy your weekend, folks!
