Woooo!! I'm the proud new owner of a new Macbook! And because of Mac's current promotional event, my Daddy-o got a Nano for free (well, almost free). Since my former computer was a 5+ year-old Dell Latitude that ran Windows 2000 at a sluggish pace, I am LOVING my new Mac and its speed and all of its loverly features. Hooray for my new fruity friend. Always knew I love fruit, I did.
So you may have guessed it, but: I'M HOME! Back in sunny CA, home of 90-degree heat and invading ants and oh the glorious smog. But there's no place like home, and sleeping in my own bed... I got home around noon yesterday after having traveled for over 24 hours with maybe 2 hours' sleep, and managed to get through the day with only 1.5-hr nap. Today, I woke up at 8am and managed to get through the day without a nap;
Jet lag: 0, Jess: 2.
Let's hope Jet Lag remains scoreless.

Congratulations on the new MacBook!
New computers are like new-borns. You just want to make sure nothing goes wrong with it unlike the past ones you've had. I just recently got one as a graduation gift from my dad and I over-installed two anti-virus programs (which apparently slows down your computer) but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Anyway, Macs are so pretty. You have to let me borrow it sometime.
